Homework
All homework is assigned on the first day of the week and due by the last day of the week (i.e. assigned on Monday, due on Friday; if a short week may be assigned on Tuesday or due on Thursday). Students also need to record their nightly reading on their reading log and bingo sheet.
Why Read for 2O?
Students who read for 20 minutes at home everyday perform better in school and on state tests than those who read for only 5 minutes or not at all. They will have also read over 1,000,000 words in a year, infinitely increasing their vocabulary and knowledge.
